Hi everybody!
I have since 1978 a pair of Altec Nine Series II
Now my midrange is broken and I MUST change it with another midrange.
It's very difficult! I can't find a new midrange: too big, too small ecc...

I find a Beyma 6G40Nd it seems very nice but the buuffle cutout diameter is 146mm (5,74 in) and the on the cabinet is only 140mm (~5,50 in.).

Who can help me?
I love my Altec!!

Thanks

Are you sure it is a driver issue?
If yes, I suppose you could contact Bill at Great Plains Audio - see his cite on the Net.
