This seems to be my day today...
After the low end, I also have a question for the mid-highs. I am curious about trying a set of 2385 horns on my speakers (I use 2450 on circular horns at the moment). I could do this after moddifying a set of 51-5334 cards I have for my crossover to the right frequency.
At the moment, I am not running the 2450 full range but cross them over to 2405's using a CC'd 3106 type crossover. Would this approach be a problem if using the 2385 + 51-5334 system? I have looked at the voltage response of that card and it does not seem that the high frequency boost of this card above 8kHz is such that it would be an issue, but I wondered if anyone has tried this combination??
