I see there are a number of LE10 variants and I don't really find any "guide" to what
all of them are and I have a few questions. (is there a guide?)

First I've got some pics here of ones I've recently gotten an wondered if someone
might have a clue as to if they have been reconed and if so what it might be.

Are all the LE10's pretty much the same sensitivity or any high senstivity variants.

I see they can be reconed to other things, STUPID question here but if one was to
recone it to something else does it take on that exact speakers specs and is there
a driver they could turn into that was higher sensitivity.

I'm not necesarely wanting to recone anything an make a different speaker. I'm just
curious how all this plays out when you switch around different parts.

I have 3 sets of LE10's with Alnico magnets and there all different, so I'm trying to
figure out what they are and how best to use them.

One set is pretty standard LE10A, white aquaplas on front, I got those covered I'd
think and they have the inverted dust cap. Second set is a black smooth cone with
a standard dust cap, no aquaplas at all and say LE-10-101 on the back of the cone.
The last set is in the pic's.

(Got some info on the LE-10-101 before but nothing that was definative)

I'm just kinda lost with all these LE10's and no real good data to tell me much.
More wanting to know are there any higher sens versions of these 10" guy's.

Thanks for any help.

I have not refoamed any yet, I plan on refoaming all then running WT3 an post the
perameters, I ran impedance sweeps on all and there pretty much the same, starts
out at about 5ohms, then FS, then 5, then slowly back up like a normal 8ohm driver.

The large dustcaps and the ribbed cones don't look like original parts.

Others that know more will probably come along, but this might be useful to you in the meantime.
