Hello,
For my system: http://audioheritage.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=11750
I just bought a second amplifier (the first is a Lectron JH50 equipped EL34) a Sonic Frontiers SFS-40 which is currently equipped KT88, but it can be equipped with the following references EL34/6CA7/6550/KT88/KT90/KT99a, your opinions and experiences on the best choice?
Thank you.
Stéphane

Those SF units are So sweet Stefan....As for tube selection I am not sure what to tell you. I used to do warranty work for SF/Anthem and I must say two things:

1. It is the nicest most beautifully hand made tube stuff I have seen to date.

2. I would have starved to death if I had to live off warranty repairs on these two product lines.
