Started with L-16's; moved to all kinds of speakers. Now, I am enjoying L/26's and have L/19"s comming. I just wanted to get some comments on the Decade series.

hey!
i got the L26. love em! dont use them though.
neat little speakers, they where the first to show me what it means to get really connected to the music. i especially remember one evening two years ago listening to some old rock songs, when i got soaked more and more into the performance. tonal balance wasnt quite right, but it didnt matter, because the speakers served pure action (not power, no, just action).
also they image great.
and they are a great image!

(the surrounds, i know...wasnt me!)

i was always thinking about getting a test setup going with an active crossover and two amps. wondering where the decade might be able to go? crush some genelecs..!

cheers,

I got a pair of beat L36's off Craigslist for $75 and fixed them up ( thorough cleaning and new veneer)- they have a very good balanced sound to them and the bass is decent - they are pulling dorm duty at my sons college - here is a before and after pics

I have a pair of L26's and a pair of L36's. Both sets are in very fine condition and sound great. I coveted them intensely back when I was a teenager but could never afford them on a newspaper delivery boy's wages. So now I compensate by having 2 pairs :)

Both models have a very bright, forward sound to them. I prefer them on stands about 20" off the floor.

5 pair L-26
2.5 pair L-36 (a single L-36 as my center channel in the computer room)
1 pair L-88 ( I just scored an M-12 expander kit tonight!):bouncy:
2 pair L-88P ( w/ M-12 expander kits)

in addition to 2 pair L-100 & 1 pair Pioneer HPM-100.

needless to say, I love the Decades!

Three pair of L46 here, they're used in a 5.1 system with one spare. I always seem to expect less of them (thinking "8 inch 2-way") and always am pleasantly surprised.
