A pair of Denon POA-4400's for bass?

Hello dear experts,
I was wondering if it'd be a good idea to buy a pair of Denon POA-4400 monoblocks to power the bass drivers of my Ti10k speakers (the bass driver network has separate terminals)? They give 150 watts to 8 ohms, where my current amp (5350SE) gives about 90 watts to 8 ohms. Maybe separate power amps driving the low bass drivers would improve their sound? Does anyone have any opinions about these old Denon power amps in general?

I can only comment on my experience with the POA 6600, which is the 4400's big brother with similar technology. I think the circuit topology was brilliant for its time, yet sonic quality was lacking for full range or high pass service, compared to many amps of their time. However, for powering woofers, mine have proven to be very reliable, cool running and solid performers over the years. :)

Bear in mind, that any 4400 or 6600 is getting on in age and capacitors do tend to dry up and can fail after 15-20 or so years of service....
