Hey guys, I've been reading previous posts on updating L110 xovers but have an atypical setup and was wondering if any changes should be considered during update. DIY speaker is as follows.
36 x 18 x 13 cabs.
Volume= 1.7 cf after insulation.
LE14A lows.
104H-2 mids.
2412H highs w/ 8 x 4 plastic horns(Parts Express).
4 1/4 x 7 ports.
If no other changes am I to understand that .01 bypass caps are preferred over .068's?

Also, is removing the L-pads preferred? If so, replace with what?
Thanks for your time.

Probably not too easy to answer that from memory.. Hope this helps.

I've got the N110, N110A and N112 schematics, thanks. I see that the mid and high components are pretty similar but was wondering if I should change the low values to compinsate for my LE14A's. Thanks for the reply.

It's best to test rather than guess. You have to look first at the electrical conditions to determine if the crossover network will work with these two drivers or if different values are needed. Then it should be tested with an RTA to see what the frequency response looks like. The crossover can assist in making it right.

I use a crossover breakout box that lets me try many different values and configurations before shopping for parts. I can voice the system and determine what I am getting very quickly

Quick answers for you are:

The .068 or .01 caps should work equally well
Removing the l pads requires some testing to determine what level you like, then you can measure the l pad out of the circuit to see what values you need for 10 watt fixed resistors.
