Now let me see if I have this straight?
Amplifier Power Required

If I wanted to aim for peak SPL level at the listening position from the fronts to the surrounds.
The Crown SPL db power calculator states at (3db headroom) before clipping will occur 3db 85db is comfortable and I have at least 150 into 4 Ω on the Alesis RA300 for the LF bass mid LCR.
If I up the headroom to 10db that still gives me enough but if I up the SPL db peak at the listening position the level of power needed slowly decreases. If I aimed for simple 3 db headroom and 105db SPL at the listening position I’d need a larger amplifier, but I don’t plan on listening at 105db so modest 90db over LCR with 10 db headroom will give me more than enough. Now have made any bad judgment in these calculations?
