Dear Friends,

I there a significant difference in 2118 vs. 2119?

In my 4735 projects, the 2119 is the quoted driver, but I have 2118's and recone kits in hand. Will the 2118h be a suitable replacement?

I also saw in the "Goes Into" list that each driver has its own recone kit.

I am asking because I am not exactly sure of the differences between the two. Is it just power handling?

Scott.

The 2119 has an "improved" vice coil and the magnet has a slightly deeper gap. That's why the kits won't interchange.

For SR use, very little difference would be noticed so swap away.

try looking for the M209-8A - same as the 2119 but for some cosmetics and WR cone treatment ( if I remember right )...

Thanks, isn't the M209-8A used in the SR-X 47xx series ?
