I have a line on a pair of the 43** style cabinets and would consider getting rid of the L200 cabinets if these prove to be a better match for the 2235s.

Is there anyone with this style cabinet with a 2235 equivelent that can do a sweep and post the results?

Thanks

Hi Tod,

As I recall the L200 and the 4320 are both around 5 to 5.5 cu ft. A 2235 will work beautifully in a cabinet of that volume. You can get flat response to 35 Hz 4th order Butterworth (you will need to change the ducting) and 25 Hz 6th order (using an under-damped filter ahead of your power amp to give a 6db boost. I've done both and they both work great.
A loudspeaker design/modelling program would be better than a "Sweep" because the room acoustics are going to be dominant in the sweep unless you sweep it out doors or in an anechoic chamber.
