I own a pair of 4312MkII that I purchased brand new about 5 years ago from Hal Cox. I really enjoy the sound they produce. I recently had the opportunity to listen to a vintage page of 4310's and 4312A's and I was blown away how good those old speakers sounded. Not the the sound form the newer 4312's is bad or anything but how come these older speakers just sound so good? Is there anything I can do to modify the newer 4312's to match the older sound?
I have another project I'll start a separate thread for but it involves a house I recently purchased that has built in JBL speakers in 2 rooms consisting of D130s and 075s, which also sound amazing btw. ;)
