Hello guys, Im new.

Now I own a pair of altec model 9 II speaker, powered with pioneer sa-v210, and Phillips cd850 mk II, the cable and IC is accose, I mostly listen to rock music with atractive bass guitar player, with my current rig I really like the lows the produce, its fast and tight enough for my newbie ears, but later on I feel like their high is realy slacking, I dont feel any clarity in them.

Now I have the chance to trade my altec with JBL L100, hows that sound?
A friend also recomend a sansui au-9500 for my high freq problems. should I stick with altec and just use the au-9500? or swap them all, use JBL L100 and au-9500?or I should DIY upgrade my old pioneer sa-v210?

how about hafler 120 SE or DH-200?

regards
donny

So I can't comment on the sound difference. I suggest that you see if you can take some of your CDs and go listen to the L100s.
I'm biased toward JBL, but I still think you will like them. John
