In need of 2- 2231a recone. Any recommendations as who to use? Availability of cone kits? Southestern US area would be appreciated. Thanks

The 2231a kit isn't available you have to go with the 2235 recone kit.To use anything other than an actual JBL C8R2235 kit is cutting corners as far as Iam concerned. The 2235 kit is still available.
