"For those who wish high output at even lower
frequencies, a matching Everest subwoofer
(Model DD50000) precisely matches the
system's rolloff characteristics."

Was this ever actually made?

Thanks

Heh... I asked that same question about 4 years ago.
I'm going with "no" unless I hear otherwise. A B460 or HB5000 is probably as
close as you'll get.

That W1500H driver (Revel 15 aka SUB1500 replacement) is used in the HB5000 and 1500 Array.

There was a rumor that JBL was going to make an AlNiCo (1500AL) version of the W1500H but I don't think it ever went through.

My guess would be that the S1S (2245H version, not 2242H version) was originally intended to be the "Everest sub"?
