Hi, first post, the wife runs a town wide yard sale for the historical society and I was helping out last night moving stuff when I stumbled across a pair these S99s that someone had dropped off. Knowing they were JBLs I quickly put them in my truck and paid $20 for them before the sale even starts tomorrow. Once I got them home I inspected them the wooded grills are in great shape as are the cabinets minor stains etc...and with a little TLC they should buff out nicely. Now I don't know my a** from my elbow about these things but from reading this forum I looked at the surrounds and they appear to be in great shape no cracking and soft to the touch. I guess my next step is to hook them up this weekend to test for sound. Is there a place on this site where I can DL a manual, tech spec, etc...?
Looks like I may have a little Winter project rehabbing these speakers and this site should be a wealth of info. Glad I found it.
