OK, So my wife is a realtor who is selling the +1 million USD house for a retired conductor of a well-known orchestra located outside a major metro area in the U.S.
In viewing the house, I was shocked at the music reproduction system; a small cheap table radio!
Wow; apparently, this guy listens to Bach in his home on a table radio. It is not even the expensive but poor sounding $800 white plastic Bose radio with a cheap CD player - just a cheap $15 table radio!

i guess he figured what's the point when he got to hear a real orchestra live all the time?

a retired conductor of a well-known orchestra located outside a major metro area in the U.S.
Would that not then be an Ultra Maestro sound system?

Yeah, yeah. And the shoemaker's kids are barefoot, too.
Doing many things professionally has good odds of ruining your hobby.
But then the original poster said it was NOT a Bose radio.

I now have a newfound respect for the gentleman.
