I think some people will enjoy these pictures. Thanks for indulging me.
For years and years and several homes, I have dreamed of rear access to my audio components and plenty of AC outlets. I finally have it.
My laundry room backs up to downstairs living room/bar area. I cut a 42" x 42" hole in the joining wall and my dream is coming true.
It's so nice to have all the hook ups at eye level with full access to the rear panels of the equipment.
No more bending over to work controls and no more bad lighting.
All the fronts are at least waist height – makes for a wonderful display of beautiful audio gear.
Check out the pull out turntable shelf.
I still need to run audio, video and satellite wires, add a black shade to the rear of the cut out and a few other details.
