Hi All,
Sure would like your options and compairsons of these two speakers.
I was watching these L65's on ebay. Looks like a nice pair. At $500 now, with 12 hours to go.

I have pretty large room, about 35 x 35. One pair of 4311's and one pair of 4312A's. Each on their own Carver M500t amp, with 250W per side going to each of the four speakers.
I love the sound, and the four speaker set up fills room pretty well. But not where I want to be. When I want to really crank it up when we have a group of friends over - it's just not getting to the sound pressure I want.
I know horn drivers are where I really need to be. I can't swing the $$ now.
If I take baby steps - my question is would and how much of a step up are the L65's from my book shelf monitors?
The dB spec's are the same and they both have 12" drivers. L65's have bigger cab's (not much) and better tweeter.
Please share your thoughts -
If I were able to A/B two L65's and two 4311's at high volume - what would be the comparison?
Thanks All,
Steve
