Question about Sensitivity Spec’s

I was reading spec’s trying to figure out how these two examples compare.

L300: 80 dB with 1 watt @ 15’.
4311: 91 dB with 1 watt @ 3.3’.

My understanding is (please chime in) the higher dB level will produce more sound pressure and be the louder speaker.

Anyone know the formula to compare these to examples? Distance is three times different.

I assume the L300’s will be louder with same watts – but how much more? 1 – 2 – 3, more dB?

Thanks
Steve

4311 is 77.85 dB at 15 feet.

Formula is:

Resultant dB = 20 x (log new distance/reference distance)

20 x log(15/3.3) = 13.15 dB

91 dB - 13.15 dB = 77.85 dB
