I did a search on 4312c, and have also looked at the pdf data sheet (http://manuals.harman.com/JBL/HOM/Technical%20Sheet/4312C%20ts.pdf), and compared against the data sheet for the 4312, which is titled 4312L,R, and has 2 different model numbers for the cabinets. I even asked the Zilchmeister, but he deferred to the collective knowledge of the LH forums.

I'm guessing that they're not, but would like confirmation....

Thanks....

I had the same question, and looked at the same spec's.

Last week I saw 7 pair, 14 total of the 4312A's together and they all had HF on the left side, as you face cabinet.

I think the 4312 is mirrored and are the only ones. For the A, B, and C this feature was dropped and not mirrored.

I think I may be looking at the same set the Addict is looking at- from the paperwork I can find, the 4312 and 4312A were mirror, the 4312 doesn't mention being a mirror-image pair. Odd.

Mr. Addict, you making a trip to my backyard? Let me know...

Nope, I actually bought a pair for a Benny locally 7-10 days ago....

These things are beautiful, like they just came out of the box. I'm still deciding whether I really like the sound.

This puts me up to 3 pair of JBL now, a pair of 4301b's, 4312c's, and a pair of L-88's. One of these days I'll have to listen to some of the big boys and see how they sound....

After all if I like all my Altec gear, there can't be anything not to like about JBL's right?.....:D

I'm second in line for a pair near me at this point, haven't seen them in person yet.

So, are these sequential serials, yet not mirror-imaged? Have you heard any solid info that they weren't sold as L & R versions?

Thanks,

je, not happy enough with 9 pair? ;)

So, is that a tongue in cheek suggestion to take the 123-A's out of the L-88's, which sound boomy to me, and plunk them into the 4312c's?...:p

I was thinking more like a 128H-1. Maybe we can play Frankenstein someday and swap them out?
