One of my tweeters seems to be in disrepair. I pulled it out and hooked it straight up to the amp and get sound, but very fuzzy sound. The foam and cone appear to be in great condition. Is it blown out? The other one is a fine tweeter, super crisp highs, and cymbals I didn't know even existed on a couple of songs, they're amazing! Do I need to buy a new one or can this one be repaired?

Call Audivex in Berkeley, 527-1391.

If he says it can't be fixed, I have several here....

Hello, My apologies for a question to this old thread but I am also the owner of a pair of Aquarius 1 (S-105) speakers...
How or did this issue with the LE 20 get resolved?
sincerely,
Byron

If I may intrude - its a 2008 Thread, and NOSferatu's Last Activity on this website was 07-26-2009 11:40 AM

He has not been here since and isn't likely to respond to your question.

No harshness meant ... I just didn't want it to seem rude if he did not reply ...

thanks, I surmised as much but thought it may be worth a try..
I'm really trying to find a very good restoration service for my Aquarius 1 speakers...I didn't notice any links to such services.
When new they had a very deep base without being boomy, the highs were silky smooth and the and the sound reflecting plates made the sound large without being edgy... I would love to restore them and don't feel comfortable doing it myself.
sincerely,
Byron Stutz
