JBL ti5000 - info needed

Hi,

I am considering getting a pair of ti5000s and would like to know if I can drive them with a 20W chip-amp.
Any comments on sound would be wellcome

The Ti5000 is fairly efficient at 91dB sensitivity. For low to moderate listening, your 20 Watt amp will probably be adequate. Avoid trying to drive the Ti5000 to loud levels, though as the amp will almost surely clip, and you'll risk destroying the tweeter.

JBL no longer lists replacement parts for this speaker, except for the logo. If you fry a tweeter, you're out of luck.
