What would be a good height for the L100s?

I am getting a pair of those but I need some stands - someone suggested "Something Solid" open-frame stands from the UK (rave reviews from Harbeth/Spendor users). Are there any other alternatives?

As for the height - I imagine the height of my ears when I sit down is maybe around 3'-4', so would a 20" stand be optimal?

Thanks =)

They sound real nice at 20" even with their backs close to a wall. If you're putting them on carpeting, make sure the stand comes with spikes.

Thanks - they'll be about 1.5' from the rear wall, and they'll be on tiles, so i'll probably use spikes+pads.

I've also been told that Sound Anchors are great - so I will look into those too.

I have seen JBL stands for this series of speakers on eBAY. There are some there now.
