Need some advice on this, I have a pair of L45 Flairs, one tweeter is open, if you push the cone a little it starts working. I have checked the leads under the foam with no success, it is a problem under the cone.
First, can it be re-coned and at what cost?
If I get one from Ebay, does it make any significant difference if I get any of the other models, ( -2, 3, ) etc? Or is it worthwhile to get something different from a newer model (only if I can leave the stock crossover alone though).
Thanks guys,
Bob

Just had a LE25-2 reconed by my local JBL pro - Signature Audio Services in Wixom, MI. Kit is D8R LE25-2. $78.00 + $12 to install. The LE25 takes a different kit, however - D8RLE25. May not be available. Check the Consumer Technical Manual for L45 A/B Flair here on site - a lot of options. My recent experience is that it is not worth the hassle to mess with the eBay cast-offs. All that stuff is getting mighty old - used, re-used and abused. Mike
