LE25 versions

The pair of L100's my buddy purchased for $55 Saturday has a dead tweet. Over the phone, I talked him through switching them and verified one of them is definitely dead. I tried the search engine on this site and sure came up with a lot of info (and a few arguments as well) on the L-100. But I couldn't find anything on the compatibilit/specs of the differing LE25 versions. My friend is looking to replace the original dead LE25 and is wondering if the LE25-4 will work? Thanks!

First:
I tried the search engine on this site and sure came up with a lot of info :coolness: Well done...

Second: I think the LE25-4 will be fine - I believe the "quick connect" wire ends will slip right on. I just can't find much in my library on the different iterations - only question I have is will it will physically slip into the space. Some later versions had a different front piece / disperser.
