Are the 4312C monitors considered one of the JBL Professional or consumer products. I find no reference of the C in JBL Pro publications so I am a little confused. These are, as far as I know, the last example of the 4312 models and is the black utility cabinet version.

How about the 035TI ?. I have heard they can sound a little zippy.

I like it in some systems but not in others. It's certainly a very consistent transducer from a manufacturing standpoint. It has none of the "problems" associated with previous designs such as the 066. It has ruler flat response to ~ 27 kHz, all previous designs except the 044Ti were a bit more ragged and significantly more bandwidth limited. The 035Ti is a cheaper version of the 044Ti.

As for zippy, I personally found it to be mildly irritating in the LxxT series but it is quite good in some of the Studio Monitors such as the 44xx.
