Please direct me to a link which describes how to make the exterior of dolly parton horns look nice and new when they have spent 20 years in a bar:
1. How to remove white paint marks.
2. How to fill gouges (should I bother ?).
3. How to obliterate scratches (should I bother ?).
4. How to freshen the front surface. Can I wipe them with WD40 or something similar ?

I won't bother if the sound quality is not audibly affected by the surface of the horn.

G'Day Midnight,
Did you resurface your 2344 horns? They look very shiny. If you did I am interested in the process as mine are a little rough.

Regards Scott

Yes, I did
All I did was sand them down with a fine sand paper.(800grit)
and use a Black Satin Automotive trim coating paint.
This paint is use on auto trim, like rubber bumpers. Its made for rubber. Its also made for exterior use so its very tough. It comes in a spray can. 2 coats of that and it was done.

You can get this at any body shop supply store.
