You guys are all just too good looking. Allow me to add my greetings to Heather, too, and repost this fine photo of her doing me the kindness of personally delivering a pair of L20Ts. Or were they L80Ts and we're just really huge? All the best, Heather! :

Thanks to all of you - just getting ready to head off to work (Oh-dark-early in the DC area!). We had a great weekend - Emma really gave me "Heart's delight" - From the camera that arrived Friday evening, to Dim Sum saturday morning, a nice dinner and a surprise cake with 7-minute icing (an ancient recipe from childhood), a movie, and just plain closeness with the love of my life for the long 3 day weekend. Many happinesses.

Thanks to all of you for all of your kind wishes and blessings as well!

And, because its couples' choice -
a pic of me and Emma from my Dad's 86 birthday dinner a few weeks back!

Heather, dont forget to enjoy the rest of your "Birthday-Week" why stop at one or three days ;)

Tom! it looks amazing over there, my wife's younger brother is in Vietnam right now, went there from India, did not tell anyone, the little bastage is probably having the time of his life. Likes it there better than India, cleaner.

C'mon ... 11 years with this wonderful woman - who needs presents?

But, yes, she did treat me ...
I'd had my old Olympus D40Z for 4 years or so, and after I got her a new Canon digicam for Christmas ... well, we found a new one for me - a Canon G9! I had found a deal via eBay, and it was delivered Friday evening.

We did a great brunch Saturday - Dim Sum at Mark's Duck House (http://www.marksduckhouse.com/)
Afterwards we picked up a small cake she ordered for me - velvet chocolate with 7 minute icing - its kind of like a whipped marshmallow topping - all egg whites and creamy - I hadn't had that since I was a child!
We went out to see "Jumper (http://www.jumperthemovie.com/)" at the local theatre, did some walking (very warm weekend for Feb - Monday was in the mid-70s!). She cooked me a steak dinner over cous cous ... and we spent a lot of time together just chatting and laughing and ...

Yep, it was hard to leave and go back to work on Tuesday!

Heather

I bet that Cannon takes good digital imaging :applaud: over my little ViviCam 3785 well do you expect for £50.00 pounds. How good is it with taking pictures outside in the night time and daytime with levels of contrast that is seen in the clouds when the sun is behind you, because my camera just over exposes the image and it looks dreadful?:(

Oh no you’ve seen Jumper oh you suck, :D I haven’t had the budget to make it to London this month. Bet it sounded good as well. :p

Matinee show Monday @ 11:30AM - new release film prices are $15 US for 2 ... we don't do THAT very often and usually just get DVDs from Netflicks - home theatre and all of that y'unnerstand.

Heather

So you didn’t tuck in a SPL in the handbag to check the peak SPL level and use one sequence after elevating soundtrack for later home cinema use. I used to do that quite often, but $15.00 for 2 isn’t too bad a price as it goes.;)

Does the cinema use JBL throughout all there screens or do they use other KCS Electo-Voice Martin Audio QSC? And does is it THX.
:rockon1:

Anyways off to Summerfield’s now to do the grocery shopping.
