Thought I would freshen up my 4311 enclosures, studio monitor grey. Does anybody know the NCS colour code of this colour? Here's a link to the US NCS colour system web page http://www.ncscolorusa.com/html/system_presentation.html

Any help is most welcome,

Sigurd

The original grey color was mfd/called "Zolatone" Not sure about a color chip number, but there was a time when it was there only color. As it is a process, there are many colors available. It's basically Battleship Grey.

Turns out Zolatone has a page on the web....I'll bet they could tell you the exact color, if it's a standard number. Surf it and give it a try.

Hello :)
I want to rebuilt and modify a pair of 4311B. I is a WX type but the veneer is bad. I want to paint it in the original structured grey. Does anyone know what color it was originally? It would be a dream if anyone would even know the RAL color. Thank you for your answers.

Smooth the grain down with automotive body putty, sand gently,
then you can spray grey over that for a nice finish, like the pros!
