This is one of the worthless and wasteful $6 million I have seen committed to any home cinema, project with so many flaws in it. :o:

Not one single professional product in plan sight, clearly he should have approached (Bell Theatre Services UK) for ideas how to spend $6million with at least a bit of common sense.

Looks like THAT site has gone down under severe server load ...

Try here ... http://blog.audiovideointeriors.com/208great/

and here - http://gallery.mac.com/kipnis#gallery

and many many pages linked via Google

Looks to me like someone is trolling for a lot of eyeballs ...
but, if he can write off 6 mil by popping it online and showing the world thats what he spent on it, hey, I can think of worse ways to hide a fortune from the IRS ... he he he

But on further searching and reading, it doesn't seem like he SPENT $6 million, I'm pretty sure he is looking for folks who will pay him $6mil to build THEM a room like that! Nice job!

Besides, it STILL looks like it was photoshopped :applaud:

The guy makes his living in that business . Why should'nt he have a room like that. The whole thing is a custom job. The cables run in isolated channels beneath the floor. The room is floating on isolation pads attached to the bedrock. This is the type of project designers dream of . Maybe its a little flash. The technology is pre professional market. That Sony projector is better than anything in a commercial theatre. Call it reference video. It is all state of the art . I can forgive the Mac fetish. What a way to watch films with the wife!

As nice as all the gear may be, the designer could have presented it a bit better. Having to negotiate a circle of Macs to get onto the couch is hardly practical or sensible. To me it seems they have just put a bunch of stuff in a room and hooked it up. Having said "hooked up" , I have seem other pics of this setup with cables running along the back wall. If the Macs are hooked up, they must have butchered them a tad to hide the cables. But top marks for the pic.:)

P.S. The Ferrari 599 is not the fastest production Ferrari. It is the most powerfull series production at present. But I guess he missed that as well.

Wait'll the first time there's a mini-short/buzz/hum goes through that system at about 130 db - can you say permanent deafness?

In this link http://blog.audiovideointeriors.com/208great/ three Crown Macro Reference Gold amplfiers are listed, which are definitely professional, but I don't see them. Best amp in the room - I own one - but I don't know what is meant by the Gold part. There ain't anything gold about them, unless he means the connectors.

Not to mention there's no way to isolate all those subs from affecting the Macs.
