Anyone know the Control 1 LA line?

I picked up a quad of these apparently obscure Control series and one has a crunched cone on the "C1003LA" driver. It plays OK at lower volumes, but starts to rattle a bit as things heat up.

I can only find reference to the C1003X driver currently available for the Control 1x line, but these appear to have foam surrounds whereas the LA version is an all-weather rubber butyl surround.

Anyone know if there is a direct replacement?

The C1003 & C1003X are 1/2 the price, but are they correct? :hmm:

I think they will be fine, if you replace them in pairs. Any tiny differences will not be noticed.
