You have seen the ads that pop up once and awhile on ebay for wooden multicells. Has anybody on this forum actually built multicells? It takes time and patience, I realize that. But is it a good idea at all sound-wise?
I'm thinking of taking measurements from a 12-cell horn and either build my own replicas from either wood or plastic. Plywood or similar, or glass-fibre or to cast the cells in transparent acrylic (which might look cool - but I don't know about the sound).
Wood seems like a "natural" choice but I would greatly appreciate some advice.
