Effect of bi-wire on 4344M

Hi,

I'm running in my new pair of 4344M and I have not tried using bi-wire.

I like to know whether there will be significant effect on sound reproduction. Anyone care to advise?

Though bi-wire is popular with some groups of hi-fi fans, I never really thought that it would be much of an advantage.
If your speaker is set up to deliver the woofer signals seperate from the high freq. ones, then why not bi-amp these with an active crossover and 2 stereo amps and get the advantage of the amps pushing only limited freq. ranges?
I don't know the wiring on the JBL 4344M specifically.

Assuming that 4344M is of the similar design on 2 sets of speaker binding post per speaker box, I agree with you that bi-amp will be a better choice than bi-wire application.

Part of the satisfaction is in the restoration process. Mostly I am amazed by how transparent these old speakers are. For vocals/choral music, the speakers just dissappear completely. And I am using budget electronics!!
