Hey, does anyone have the JBL service/tech sheet on the 4612 system? I specifically need the crossover schematic, more than anything. I've been handed an empty pair of 4612 cabinets, that I need to get working... first step, is to build a new set of crossovers. I think I've got everything else handled (drivers, etc) but can't find the 4612 in any of the service manuals I have...

Thanks!

Regards,
Gordon.

Gordon - just yesterday I closed on a pair of 4612OK, primarily because I was looking for a pair of 2404H drivers, so I just got the whole set. In addition to schematics posted, let me know if you have any other questions - they should be here in a few days. I *may* be parting them out at some time...

What use are you planning for them?

Giskard, thanks, got it.

John, I may be interested in some of the parts... I may possibly want some of the 2118Hs. I'm probably going to build a set of crossovers... as simple as they are, I should be able to knock these out in no time...

Thanks again, both of y'all...

Regards,
Gordon.

I may possibly want some of the 2118Hs.I believe you'll find JBL used the 16 ohm 2118J in the 4612 series. Two in parallel for 8 ohm total on the lows.

Thanks for the tip, I sussed that out for myself during the day, after wondering about that. To get 8 ohms total with the crossover they had, the woofers would kinda HAVE to be J's... :)

Gordon.
