Hey Folks,
I have a pair of 4311B's that I use as mid field studio monitors. If I had been using my noggin' when I was hunting for some mid fields I would have held out to find a pair that were mirror imaged. I have been looking around for a decent (price and condition) pair of 4312s but I wondered how hard it would be to reverse the mid and HF drivers on one side? I know there's a housing for the mid that would have to be moved but is it going to do some sacrelgious wrong to the cabinets if I try what I'm talking about or should I bight the bullet and pick up a pair of 4312s (which would make my brother very happy because he would likely inherit the 4311B's)? Would the components in my 4311B's fit into 4312 cabinets? Any issues there?
