I saw this on yahoo auction japan.
The adapter looks like a simple cone. Has anyone the dimensions for that piece.

I try to make out from the photo of box the details, but I could not read it.
I guess I only need to know if this is straight and the total length?
Can you give the dimmension of that part?

The dimensions are not known to me.
According equation <6> found here
http://audioheritage.org/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=186821&postcount=1
there is a dependency between length and cut off frequency:
length 1 inch - 618 Hz cut off frequency
length 2 inch - 309 Hz cut off frequency
length 3 inch - 206 Hz cut off frequency

to match the flares at both ends, I'm calculating 1.75", front to back... (assumes
1.50" entry and 2.00" exit ... may have to adjust slightly for differences and/or gaskets
-if- it would even make any difference). At that portion of the curve, a straight wall
(conic section) appears to be a close enough approximation
(~ 0.5mm bulge in the middle would be closer ;) ). -grumpy
Err.. matching flare of 2311/2307 type horns.
