Hi Folks,

I'm installing horns(2307) and 2405 drivers and I'm missing those Vinyl Gasket/O-Rings. Does anyone have any simple 'Home Depot" solutions?

I'm thinking of some sort of weatherstripping or rope calk.
Remember rope calk??? Can I find that at the 'Depot'??

TIA

Closed-cell self-adhesive foam weatherstrip from ACE hardware.

3/8" x 1/16"

Parts Express sells both rope caulk and gasket tape (as above) for speaker mounting....

Thanks for the post John. As I'll be making several trips to the hardware store today (X-mass lights bulbs :banghead:), I'll give Zilch's closed-cell solution a try.

Rohnert Park...Nice! What's it like to have Somoma in your 'backyard'?

Rohnert Park...Nice! What's it like to have Somoma in your 'backyard'?Actually, that's "Sonoma". Both city and county, R.P. is in Sonoma county. For those not familiar with it, Sonoma, (and neighbouring Napa county), are famous for the wines they produce. For me, though, it's either Johnny Walker Black Label or Kahlúa...

JBLOG,

I've got a number of the gaskets bought some time ago from JBL Pro. If you want some, PM me and we can work out something for basically the cost I paid for them. I'm in La Habra, northern OC/far eastern LA county so if you're not too far, you can pick up too or I can mail.

Regards,

Bart
