First post (after lots of reading) so forgive any noobie ignorance.

I've been itching to DIY my first 2-way project and from the parts I have (LE14A & 2416 drivers) it looks like a quasi-L200 is doable. The preferred 2342 is not in the cards for a first project so I was wondering if the $9.90 338800-001 could be subbed without a major performance hit. How about the Parts Express Selenium small biradial horn HM17-25?

I really like the look of Hamilton's dual ported L200t3s. Are his cab plans on the site?

Thanks in advance.

Send Hamilton a PM, and he'll likely respond. 3.5 cuft was our target, as I recall, i.e., slightly larger than Citation 7.4.

Yes, 2416H will very likely work on the $10 PT waveguides. It's a 90° x 50° dispersion pattern, and in some respects therefore preferable to the 2342.

I have some 2416H-1s here, but I'd have to crack open some 4425s for 2416Hs to see what filter to use, as I don't know what's different about 2416H variants.

I've run 2418H-1s on that waveguide successfully with LE14A LF:

I'd guess the PT waveguide would be a better performer than a PE biradial, but the only way to know is to test and measure them both....
