Some thoughts about many drivers

THIS IS CRAZY, i know.. BUT but-...

Let´s play around with the thought to have for example
8 JBL SUB 1500 connected to only ONE ampfilter...

Building a subtower :D

THEN, let´s say the tower will operate between 16 - 120hz !

It would be possible i think to make this 8 drivers work
as an unit of 8ohm. Lets say the ampfilter is capable of
delivering 1400 watt in 4 ohm, BRIDGED, and if we have
8ohm loudspeaker, the amp will see 4ohm, that´s corect? :)

OK, 1400 watts to 8 JBL SUB 1500.

Will the amp be able to deliver enought power so the drivers
can operate in their max?

Is there any way to illustrate this in some graphs?
I have not been taking some EQ_ing in mind...

IF you could afford to buy 8 1500 subs. Why drive them with only ONE large amp. I would prefer to use 8 amps (bi amped) to upper speaker systems.

If I calculate, it would be like each driver will have
some 250 watt if the amp can dleiver 2000 watt then..

wich may be enought if we have basreflex boxes

It´s not fair, if I´m ordering to Sweden, I end up paying
customs and taxes, it´s about 31% extra to the cost
from Parts Express !

Well, IF I only knew someone in the states who
bought the drivers and shipped them to me, I dont
have to pay theese 31% and thats great..

But i dont know anyone.. :banghead:
