I picked this up cheap at a thrift store. I think they just thought they were old end tables? I dont think they bothered to open them up. Are these a proto-type, custom build or a copy of a certain model? I attached a few picks. There are two end table style cabinets with two swing out doors. One side for records or whatever and the other side houses a
LE-10A and a 16 ohm LE-20? I know about what the drivers are worth but are the complete cabinets worth anything? 29352

.... custom build or a copy of a certain model? I.......

Hi Travis,

I don't think they are original JBL cabinets. Seems to be a standard home furniture sideboard from the end 50s or 60s, built in a custom made baffle with a S11 system kit, or the parts of a Lancer L66.
Take a look for the crossover.....if it's a LX11, then it's a S11 system kit.

The driver prices, when parted out for the LE10 are between 40 and 90$ for good ones, the LE20 goes for 20 to 50$.

The baffle is what makes me say "hell know" after the unusual cabinet. Nice componets however. What crossover is it setup with?

There is really no "standard typel" crossovers. The le10a is running full range and the le-20`s have 2 each, inline capacitors that read, "TRW 663UW 2.0 10% 100VDC? Mean anything to anyone? Thanks, Travis

That's additional evidence that it wasn't put together by JBL. They would have used one of their crossovers.
