I made a search and have read a max of the threads here concerning the 2397, I also have the detailled drawings of these horns (thanks Widget!) - one thing I have not been able to find out yet is the lip profile. Looking at all the threads, there seem to be a variety of different profiles, from quite smooth to very abrupt - does anyone have measures of what it should really be like?

Thanks!

I know I posted a full scale drawing of the 2397 lip section, but I just did a series of searches and couldn't find the post.:(

I have the drawings on another computer... if you can't find it anywhere shoot me a PM and I'll try to track them down and post them again.

Widget and Scorpio,

presumably it is this thread:
2328/2397 transition (http://audioheritage.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=5114)

["2397" was not a separate string, yesterday I saw the thread by accident :)]

Thanks... that's the one I remembered. If you print that out at full scale, i.e. when the material thickness is 0.75 inches, then you will have an accurate lip detail drawing.

Perfect, thanks a lot Hoerninger, I hadn't seen this thread for the reason you mentionned.

Cheers
