They came out of an old speaker box. If you do know is there any reason to try to keep them? They have huge magnets on the back

Thanks

The woofer is a vintage Utah... given the color and bell on the magnet, probably mid 1950s.

The crossover is probably from a Bozak B302 or something similar... using a 12" woofer (B199), a 6" midrange (B209?) and dual cone tweeters (B207?). Probably 60s vintage, sometime in that decade...

I'm not aware of Bozak using Utah woofers (AFAIK, and I don't claim to be definitive on this!)... so these components were probably assembled by some DIY'er sometime in the distant past.

Regards,
Gordon.

I had a pair of those Utah woofers at one time. I picked a pair of a (salvage) JBL C38 cabinets and those exact drivers were inside. They were in mint condition. I ended up selling them on eBay. I don't remember what they sold for, but it wasn't a lot.

If you remove that bell you'll see these dinky little pm's
inside....maybe good for a guitar speaker ...not much else.
