L-Pad question

Hi.

I want a L-Pad for my 2435's. They are 4 ohm and i can only find 8 ohm pads. Any suggestion? Can i put a 4 ohm resistor in series with the driver and use a 8 ohm pad? Or do that mess up the phase/FR response of the driver?

I just use 8-Ohm L-Pads with them. By the time I cascade a fixed and a variable, the filter is not seeing much variation with adjustment.

A stereo 8-Ohm wired in parallel makes a 4-Ohm L-Pad, but then there's four contact ponts which must all function reliably for it to be "right."
