Hello...
I have a pretty nice pair of mid-60s vintage JBL Lancer L77's for sale. All the drivers are perfect (LE10s and PR10s just had new- proper, mind you- surround foam installed, and the LE20 tweeters are immaculate, with no dents in the dustcaps). Crossovers are all original, and the original tweeter level switches work fine. The cabinets are good but not perfect- there are a few chips and dinks in the veneer here and there, mostly a few dinged and chipped corners and edges. The two biggest dings of note, are that there is about a 1 cm square (roughly) piece of veneer chipped out of the edge of the top of the right hand side of one cabinet, about half way back on the cabinet, and the other cabinet has one chip in the front "pictureframe" area around the grille. Overall, they look very nice, still... the grilles are in good shape, and overall, they're still very handsome, with the grilles on or off.
I am asking $250 for the pair... FYI, I am in Marietta GA, which is about 15 minutes north of downtown Atlanta GA USA. I can ship them, but be aware that to pack them to my satisfaction to survive whatever UPS/FedEx can throw at them, plus shipping itself, it could be upwards of $40 EACH SPEAKER, total (as in $80 shipping/packing for the pair, possibly), depending on where they have to go in the US/Canada region. I don't play around with wimpy packing- 2 plus inches of solid foam insulation sheet around the speaker in the box, or it don't go anywhere!!
If interested, please email me: gwaters@postmaster.co.uk
Thanks!
Regards,
Gordon.
