Wonder how much the reserve could be..

I don't know what kind of condition the drivers are in but with a cat in several of the pictures there's bound to be some "fur balls" in these speakers somewhere let a lone a few snags in the grill cloth from felines. I'll do some asking with the seller about a few things.

Those look an awful lot like the 4341 that i have. I have them on watch out of curiousity. You wont be disappointed with the sonics. They are quite hefty with very rich and full sounding presentation.

Well - 4343s have the rotating upper front panel, but lack the rear access plate that we have - plus they are a wee bit larger ...
but - such a minor difference!

OTOH, with the 4341 cabinet being deeper you'd think it could be regarded as even a sonic advantage.

I e-mailed the seller and the reserve is between $3500 and $4500. Sounds a bit steep to me, but I really dont know. What is a reasonable price?

$3500 - $4500 will look cheap in another 5 years. I paid $2376 for my pair 6 years ago. At the time is was a little pricey. Now, it's a steal.

Shipping on yours will be cheap Dog.......I can wait a year or two and I think you will be able to recover your money. For the price however YOU WILL NEED TO GET THEM TO THE UPPER LEVEL! :D

I have bought 6 hours before,.. http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220149083444&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:middle:de
For the amount he's asking for these I just don't see him getting that much. Plus I'm still suspicious about all the cat hair and such so I'd have to see & hear them before I'd buy them.
Anybody got a hunch on what these would go for?
I'd say around $3,000... but he might get some overseas bidder who'll pay the price to have them shipped there. Time will tell as they say.

My guess is the 4343 will go for close to $4000. TX member can save on shipping/crateing, you will never loose money on these, can't see any issues with these unless your alergic to cat hair.

Well look what has happened to the L250,s ???
Never say never;)
At $2500 I would say go for it. At $4000 you better really want them.

1.125$ for shipping to Hong Kong
At least the seller is well prepared for all eventualities. 5 hours to go, at 2.1k. Slight doubts they'll reach the reserve.. it always takes 2 to tango.

26 bids and it still didn't get much over $3,500 and didn't meet reserve. I think that was enough. And if the economy maintains the current direction I won't be eating those words any time soon.
Starting Bid is $3500...Reserve ???

That's because you're not buying with play money. It's a chunk of change here since we're now paying 50% more for our gas and heating oil, and we can't afford to travel to Europe anymore!
Heck, I'd happily pay $2000 for them which would be about the correct dollar-to-Euro exchange rate based on your current Euro value but indexed to when the Euro first came out. Even $2400 at parity would be a good deal. But not $3500, obviously.

if you are willing to work with sellers i dont imagine it is too hard to ship to europe.

btw, euros are used to paying 4 bucks for gas and they dont drive hummers and live in the suburbs. america is royally screwed in the coming decades. I envision alot of virtual office places because the cost of transportation and daily commute will be exorbitant. but i digress...
