I sure would like to hear the Performance Series but no one close to me carries them. Actually, I think Johnaec has some 800's? I think I'm overdue for a road trip.

If by "no one" you mean stores, you're right. At least I never found any, except Tweeters and there are none in NoCal, or NoNV. And now none in SoCal or LV either, I would think.
But those of us that have been lucky enough to grab a few pairs, well...there is nothing better at twice the price.

I've got PT800's but no matching subs yet, (I've been using the lo-pass of a DX-1 crossover for lows out of my XPL200A's until I get some dedicated subs :o: ). Don C in Santa Rosa has PT800's and PS1400's.

Ah, you missed the boat a few years ago, should have grabbed a pair of SUB1500, for cheap.

I've been using one for live bass guitar with 900 watts RMS for the past couple years, (Don C came and listened to my band for a few tunes Friday night), and two are still new in the box, (rotated every few months to avoid sag). 'Just need some time...

I've got some Giskard MDF boxes built for sub1500's if you think you might be interested. Kinda heavy, and unfinished, but typically well built.

Sounds like you're not using them. Did you go back to using the PS1400s?

I never had PS1400's. I have cloned PS1400-looking cabinets that he also finished in the cherry, pictured somewhere on the ginormo PS thread. These are test boxes that can be run sealed or ported. I also have a spare pair of sub1500's.

I just found the pic, I didn't know you had two sets of boxes for the 1500s. Also their shape is why I thought you had the 1400s.
Wish I had a basement for HT.

Yep, those "PS1500"s are beauties.

Did you ever post a shot of the test boxes?
