BMS 4550 vs. 4552

I'm trying to decide on which driver to use. I plan to use them on 511b horns crossed into K145's with an Altec model 19 type crossover (1200Hz) adjusted for the K145's.

The 4550's are recommended min. at 800 Hz while the 4552's are recommeded min. at 1000Hz. I like the extra flexibility of the 4550's but do the 4552's with their Neodymium magnet sound better? What are the advantages of a smaller stronger magnet?

I believe I hear a difference in the detail and clarity of the highs.

I prefer 4552 because of its reduced size and weight, primarily.

That's kinda moot on 511s, tho.... ;)
