Indy grilles are soooo nice that I have all three colors!

Remember, the colors of these grilles are exact duplicates of the original JBL colors. :applaud:

So - have you looked into doing repros of the L200 Speaker grilles?
Any original foams are long gone, just like the 100 foams.

It looks to be a simpler design than the L100s - Its just one series of cuts, grooved instead of a grid

They originally came in 4 colors - Smoke, Raven, Aegean, and Burgundy.

The original colors are darker and more subdued than the L100 colors,
but I suspect there's a market for at least a Black and a Chocolate brown versions

General view here:

The bottom picture shows Jack Giff's L200 speaker exposed (foam mounts to an existing "screen" - the wooden border is part of the cabinet and not removable)

Hello Heather,

Yes...I am looking into L200 grille reproductions. I will be getting examples of frames and grilles in the near future.

Thank you for the information.

Best Regards,
Indy

I've tried the donate logo several times and a new internet exp. comes up and says it's connecting but nothing happens.
Anybody know the forum account name?. I can just go into my PayPal account and send the cash.

I think Bo's out of the country, but he's the treasurer and he should know. Try to PM "boputnam" (no quotes) and if he sees it, he'll help you out.

Just wanted to post some more pics of INDYCRAFT’s exceptional craftsmanship. These CS Ultra Blue Quadrex grille inserts are the same ones that are currently being raffled here on the Lansing Heritage http://www.audioheritage.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=18099 (http://www.audioheritage.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=18099) Indycraft (Bart) and I worked out a trade for a pre-release set of the Collector Series inserts for some replacement L100 grille frames I build. When I opened the box and put them in my frames it immediately took me on a trip down memory lane. I remember walking into the sound room at Federal Electronics in Vestal, NY in the early seventies and seeing L100 for the first time. The L100 was awesome back then and still impresses friends when they hear them today. Bart has brought that look back perfectly with the Collectors Series Quadrex replacement inserts. All of us L100 junkies owe him a BIG thanks for all the time he spent perfecting the process to produce them. Thanks to all the forum members that helped with old samples for shape and color matching.
