Would I be able to build a sealed diy sub capable of response down to 15 Hz using this 18" driver?

Do a search on 2242 and you will find a lot.

BagEnd audio make some specalised subs for infrasonic bass as do Whise Audio. There have been a few diy attempts at that type of sub over the years.

Steve Schell apparently has a bass horn that gets down into that region. There maybe an opportunity for me to report on that in September if I survive the demonstration.
