Are these basically the same animal ?

I am thinking of loading up a pair of 4520,s and would like to know how to get the best performance out of those cabinets. thinking of crossing over at 800 hz. 12 db. to a pair of 2395 horns with 2445 drivers.:hmm:

Purpose of this system would be for cranking tunes in a workshop-wharehouse area with a space about 24' x 38' with 8.5' ceiling's.:dj-party:

Sort of....but not quite.

K,E series have a different voice coil...shorter...and aluminum dust cap.

E series has more powerful magnet at 1.35T vs 1.2T for alnico K140 and 2205.

2205, 2225 either alnico or ceramic will give better bass response...because that's what they were designed for.

D,K, E Series are multi-purpose transducers...mainly for musical instrument work and general sound reinforcement. More efficient, but not as clean.
